A care & navigation partner for patients with dementia, and their families.

Trusted guide. Empathetic partner.

Guide Medical Group is a first-of-its kind dementia medical and caregiving partner for patients and their loved ones, providing the following:

Diagnostic and Medical Reviews

Our team includes experienced primary care and neurology physicians who ensure proper diagnosis, care plans and ongoing oversight to keep dementia patients safe medically.

Caregiver Support

Our group was formed on the basis from our experience that dementia patients' problems become heavily caregiving and daily support problems rather than simply medical treatment problems. And one of the biggest tolls is on the family (often the spouse and children), who don't know where to start, what resources are available, how to navigate, or what to expect. We have been there and know - and are with you every step of the way.

Respite Network and Coverage

We offer a wide range of health care services to people living in Arlington, including disease diagnosis, prevention and treatment, rehabilitation, and health promotion.

Our offering

The only dedicated, all-inclusive dementia care team launching in Northern Virginia.

The team at the Guide group truly know the dementia patient's journey and know what to expect every step of the way, and what resources and agencies are available to use at different times. It has been a life-saver having them on-call to help me with my father.

When my husband started deteriorating, our doctor recommended the people behind the new Guide Medical Group to help navigate this situation - not just for him, but for me.  I feel indebted to them! We'd be lost without them.

As a caregiver, I've seen a lot organizations and approaches to supporting patients and families with dementia, but most of them are more "generalist" organizations or medical groups. Most have been specifically tailored to dementia conditions and what goes along with them, and even the ones that are have not really cracked the family/caregiver support aspect. I look forward to the Guide Medical Group's launch and expansion, I think this is a great program that is very much needed!
